Project : musikcentral.com turning csv file into website

The project was to design and develop a website musikcentral.com, the website is an affiliate of a music company that sends csv format files of their inventory. This information has to be converted to website.

The products will ultimately link to their website in the end, so no ecommerce or shipping or anything like that is needed. musikcentral.com just need to create my main and sub categories, and the product details page. All product descriptions, meta tags and links to product images are provided in the csv file.

Project : ASP.net / C# : Collect and Send Emails

The brief is to extend an existing (very simple) property booking website to:

  • Connect to a POP mailbox
  • Download the emails
  • Extract the following data from the email
  1. First name Last name
  2. Date of arrival
  3. Date of departure
  4. Phone number
  5. Number of adults
  6. Number of children
  7. Email address
  • Save those data items into a SQL Server table
  • Calculate a price
  • Generate the email content
  • Send the email to the enquirer.

Project : beta-test PAccounts (Accounting Package)

The project was to test a custom-developed accounts package callws PAccounts.

The product works Firebird/My SQL/ MSSQL server 2000/ MSSQL 2005.

Testing involves Functional and usability Test. I need to provide steps to reproduce bug along with screen shot or video where applicable.

Along with the Test cases, i need to provide the gap analysis for the developed accounting package versus standard accounting package.

The application was tested under different environment including different database servers.
